The customer is informed by means of this privacy policy how Lakeside Technology GmbH (hereinafter Title at Homepage: Privacy policyLakeside) handles the collection, use, transfer, storage and protection of the customer’s personal data. This privacy policy applies to all websites of Lakeside Technology GmbH.

By using the website, the customer accepts this privacy policy and agrees to the collection, storage, processing, use, transfer and protection of his personal data. The customer may revoke his consent at any time with effect for the future.

Should the customer not provide Lakeside with the necessary data, it is possible that the customer will not be able to use the entire website.

The collection and processing of personal data helps Lakeside to improve and optimise its website.

When the customer visits the website, the following general technical visit information is collected in so-called log files:

The customer can send a request for quotation to Lakeside via web form or request further information from Lakeside. The following data must be provided:

– First and last name
– Company
– Phone number
– e-mail address
– Password

  1. USE OF ANALYSIS TOOLS

Lakeside uses analysis tools on its website to collect data on the customer’s interaction with the website, on links the customer clicks on and on other actions the customer takes within the scope of Lakeside’s services. Further information on Lakeside’s use of the aforementioned technology and how it is used can be found in section 7 of this privacy policy.

  1. AUTHORISATION

By providing mandatory and, if applicable, further voluntary data, the customer agrees to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of such data within the scope of the purposes described in this data protection declaration.

 

  1. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Data will be passed on to third parties as far as this is necessary for the execution of the contract. The Lakeside Technology GmbH does not trade or sell customer data.

We only pass on the information we receive to third parties to the extent described below:

– Protection of Lakeside and third parties: Lakeside will disclose customer accounts and personal data about customers if it is legally obliged to do so or if such disclosure is necessary to enforce Lakeside’s General Terms and Conditions or other agreements or to protect its rights as well as the rights of its customers and those of third parties.
– With the consent of the customer: In all other cases, we will inform the customer if personal information is to be passed on to third parties and thus give the customer the opportunity to give his consent.

 

  1. DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA AND THEIR DELETION

Customer data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the fulfilment of the purpose for which it was collected, e.g. within the framework of a contractual relationship. If necessary, the data will only be blocked if deletion is not possible for legal or factual reasons (e.g. obligations to retain data due to tax regulations).

If the customer moves on the website, the data collected under point 3 letter a is automatically deleted after 30 days. The data collected from customers in accordance with section 3 letter b will remain stored until the customer’s request has been processed.

Lakeside Technology GmbH protects the data of its customers through technical and organisational security measures to minimise risks in connection with their loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure and modification. For this purpose, for example, firewalls and data encryption, but also authorisation controls for data access are used.

 

  1. ANALYSIS TOOLS

Lakeside Technology GmbH uses so-called tracking technologies to constantly improve and optimise the website. This includes in particular Google Analytics and similar programmes. The analysis tools provide statistics and graphics that provide information about the use of the website. The data about the use of an internet page is transferred to the server used for this purpose. Depending on the provider of a web analysis tool, these servers may be located abroad. For Google Analytics, this data is transmitted including abbreviated IP addresses, which prevents the identification of individual devices. The IP address transmitted by the customer’s browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place due to legal regulations or within the scope of commissioned data processing.

The customer can prevent the collection of data generated by cookies and related to his use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Lakeside Technology GmbH is entitled to change this privacy policy at any time. The amended privacy policy will be published on the website and the customer is advised to read it from time to time to keep up to date. Lakeside Technology GmbH reserves the right to inform the customer by e-mail in case of significant changes to the privacy policy.
